Brother Cooper was born in 1983 in Ripley, WV. He was raised in Spencer, WV in a Christian home and his family were always active members of the congregation. Following graduation from high school Brother Cooper attended Fairmont State University where he graduated with a BAED in 2006. In the summer of 2005 Brother Cooper joined Cornerstone Independent Baptist Church in Newton, WV under the leadership of Pastor Roy Huffman. During the fall semester of his senior year in college while reading an old King James Bible the Holy Spirit spoke to Brother Cooper's heart and showed him his need of a Saviour and the importance of living a life that was pleasing and honoring to the Lord Jesus Christ. Shortly after Brother Cooper married his wife Desarae who had been attending Pensacola Christian College. The two moved to Charlotte, NC where they both worked in Christian education. During this time Brother Cooper began attending Independent Bible Baptist Church. It was under the preaching of Dr. Coley that the Lord gripped Brother Cooper's heart and called him to preach His Word. Brother Cooper has a burden for the souls of men and has a heart for evangelism. With a burden and desire to see a great revival once again in America, Brother Cooper is a young evangelist with a passion for the "old paths." Since surrendering to the call of God, Brother Cooper has been blessed to hold revivals at many churches across the east coast as well as juvenile detention centers, prison facilities and Christian schools. Claiming Isaiah 61:1 as his life's verse, the Lord has used Brother Cooper to preach the glorious Gospel and to proclaim to a lost and dying world that JESUS SAVES!
